We need to nurture our organization like a properly prepared seedbed if we want the seeds of our dreams to grow and multiply.

NPSAS has long strived for sustainability of our family farms and their lands. Our urban neighbors are also becoming a very important part of this organization. We are working to continue this tradition of support to our members and hopefully for generations to come.

NPSAS is currently collaborating with the North Dakota Department of Agriculture in the Local Food Initiative and with the North Dakota Market Gardeners Association in promoting local foods. Our education programs continue through the annual Winter Conference and Summer Symposium. The Up for Discussion series brought sustainable ideas to our urban neighbors. This year's series to follow will be Ag for Urbanites being presented throughout the region. The Farm Breeder Club has been activity expanding FBC-Dylan and are currently working on developing and expanding a couple of other varieties. Any new ideas would also be welcomed.
